We are excited to invite local ski houses to compete amongst one another to find out who the 2015 Ski House Champion will be. The teams will compete in 5 separate events – Keg Bowling, Stein Hoisting, Beer Pong, Brat Eating, and the Terra Maze. The Team with the most wins will be crowned champions. Each team must have 8 members over the age of 21 and have a team name. Costumes are strongly encouraged. EventS KEG BOWLING Five kegs are stacked in a pyramid. A trolly with both a vertical and horizontal keg strapped to it as the “bowling ball”. Four players from each team will participate. Each person has one turn - two “balls”. The total number of kegs knocked down by the four participants of each team are tallied. A strike is 10 points. The team with most the total points wins this round. BEER PONG Eight games will be played by teams of two in which each team takes turn throwing a ping pong ball into the other team’s cups. There are ten cups on each side forming a pyramid. Once a ball lands in a cup, the cup is taken away and the opponent then drinks the contents of the cup. If both teammates hit cups, the balls are rolled back and they get to shoot again. The team that removes all of their cups first wins that game. This will be single elimination until one team remains. We will use a predetermined bracket to organize the games. Games will not be longer than 15 minutes, who ever has the least amount of cups after 15 minutes wins. If it is a tie, it is sudden death and the first person to make a cup wins. BRAT EATING Each team nominates one player to participate. Each player must eat as many brats as possible in 8 minutes. They will have Stella Cidre to drink during the competition. TERRA MAZE Teams of four will be tied together to find their way through the maze. Two teams will go at a time. Each team is given a sheet with directions to checkpoints; they must get their sheet punched at each checkpoint and find their way out of the maze. The team that finds their way out in the shortest amount of time wins this event. STEIN HOISTING How long can you hold up a two full steins, arms straight out in front of you? Each team will choose 4 members to participate. The first group goes with one member from each team participating and times are recorded for each participant. They are followed by second, third, and fourth groups. The total times are calculated and the team with the longest total time wins. AWARDS The Ski House Champions will receive a trophy and a prize that is TBA. WWW.KILLINGTONOKTOBERFEST.COM | @KILLINGTONOKTOBERFEST | [email protected]
