Enrichment Program Outline
2016/2017 School Year, Updated July 3
We offer programs in science, creativity and leadership from 3:30 – 5:30 each day after school. Each program is designed and lead
by an Acera Teacher Entrepreneur, and will have a special, unique focus defined for each trimester. (Students enrolled at Acera for
our school day and after school program will participate in 3-3:30pm recess and are eligible for pick up any time before 6pm for no
additional fee beyond regular enrichment program rate.) There will be a new fee-based bus service offered after enrichment to
serve some of our most densely populated towns at common drop off points.
Fall Session: Sept 5 – Nov 22
Winter Session: Nov 29 - March 10
Spring Session: March 13 - June 9
Students enroll in a particular enrichment program for the whole trimester and pay a flat rate as defined on the enrollment form.
Additional materials fees may apply for some programs. Detailed program descriptions and enrollment information will be available
later in July. If you are eager to assure your first choice enrichment program, enroll as early as possible!
For Acera Students Only, we will offer 1. Bonus Recess 3-3:30pm ($5 /day ) 2. Language Lab / early drop off program 8-8:30am
($10/day) (Requires family purchase/ download of language program tbd – for example Rosetta Stone – in language of your choice
3. Fee based bus pick up locations for a few of our most densely populated towns (most likely Lexington, Arlington, Medford) 4. An
additional coverage and drop-in afternoon program “Games, Arts and Discovery.” (When space is available, drop-in students may be
able to join a regular enrichment program.)
