Canada Flag
• The flag of Canada was most recently adopted February
15, 1965.
• The red Maple leaf in the flag’s center is one of the
Canada’s most recognized symbols. As you might guess
the flag is nicknamed the Maple Leaf.
Population
33.5 million people live in Canada.
There are Asian people, European people, Caribbean
people, and Inuit people.
There are large cities in Canada like Toronto, Montreal,
Vancouuer and Calgary.
Language
• The three Languages
in Canada are
English, French and
Inuktitut.
Government
• The leader is the
prime minister
Stephen Harper.
• Queen Elizabeth II of
England rules over
Canada.
