Pupil Achievements – Toby in Year
(A5returns box is in the school office)
Toby has just rejoined the scouting movement and has been accepted into the 35th Norwich Sea Scout group
(although he is is not quite 10 1/2). Toby had only been to 2 nights at Scouts before going away last weekend
for the Water Activity Camp Over (WACO) being held at Decoy broad. With his new group he did kayaking,
sailing, swam in the broad, archery, helped set up & strike camp and had an amazing time. We are all very
proud 
KS2 Performance – Tickets now on sale
The children have been practising very hard for our KS2 play “An Inspector Calls”. The first performance is
on Thursday July 6th at 2pm and there is also an evening performance on Wednesday 12th July 6-7pm. We
hope many parents from all years and the extended family will come along to watch them all. Tickets are
£1 each available from the school office after Monday.
Parent Taster Session
Edwards and Blake will be hosting a “TASTER FOOD” session for parents on Thursday 29th June 3-4.30pm for
parents in the main hall – all parents are welcome.

News from Mandy Lollipop
Mandy would like to remind all parents who drop off and pick up their children in cars, that everyone needs to be
respectful of our neighbours who live around the school. Traffic wardens do make regular patrols around the area!
This terms Attendance Trip
On Thursday 13th July if your child has received 95% attendance or above then they will be going on a trip to Funky
Monkeys. Data for this terms attendance trip will be taken from Wednesday 19th April to Friday 7th July. Children with
95% and over will be bringing home a consent form that parents/carers need to sign. Please note without this consent
form children will not be able to attend.
Site Developments
EXCITING news….. . Over the summer holiday we will adding to the outside provision for the KS2 pupils by installing
an outdoor gym. Watch this space!
Immersive Curriculum – our classroom aspirations for September – info from class teachers.
Staff are really excited about their new classes in September and are already designing their classrooms, some of the
features the children have to look forward to are:
Yr1 Dick Whittington theme complete with a castle
Yr2 Step into your space suit & climb aboard our rocket
heading on a galactic adventure into space!
Yr3 A stone age dwelling & bridge
Yr4 A Roman temple & a life size gladiator
Yr5 A Breakfast Bar
Yr6 North America
EYFS is always a fully immersive classroom  .
Out of school club remindersPlease ensure if your child is not attending a booked session at breakfast or after school club, you call informing us of
this. The main office is very busy and cannot always pass on a message to us. If we are not informed a record will be
kept and your child's place will be lost. Call on 622675 and press Option 2 for the After School Club and leave a message
on the answer phone.
Stay and play sessions only run until 4.15pm and a member of staff is employed until this time to cover the session. If
you are going to be late please call us – however, you will be charged for a full session and be added into the late book.
Two incidents of lateness in any half term will result in your child's place being lost for the rest of that half term. If this
continues to happen, stay and play sessions may have to be withdrawn from the out of school club altogether.
