Regularly Scheduled Meeting
-January 9, 20171. CALL TO ORDER
President Gene Campbell called the Regional Board of Trustees meeting to order at 7:00pm.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Campbell, Bowling, Campbell, Hanzelin, McGowen, Young, Ruscitti
Absent: All present
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
4. PUBLIC COMMENT
None
5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Transcripts of March 14, 2016 meeting were presented. On a motion by Ms. Hanzelin,
and seconded by Ms. Bowling on a roll call vote. The minutes were approved. All members present
voted aye and the motion passed as follows.
6. SETTING REGULAR BOARD MEETING DATES
President Campbell presented quarterly dates for 2017 and 2018: April 3rd, July 10th,
October 2nd and January 8th, 2018 which were approved on a motion by Ms. Bowling, seconded by
Ms. Hanzelin on a roll call vote. All members present voted aye and the motion passed.

8. NEW BUSINESS
Midwest Club Petition 2017PDA01
Attorney Brian Bare with Whitt Law, LLC in Aurora, IL introduced himself. His firm
represents the petitioners who reside on Court 7 in the Midwest Club subdivision. They filed
this petition last year and noted a nine-month window for regional boards to hear and
determine the motion.
Attorney Chris Hoffman from Hodges and Loizzi Eisenhammer Rodick & Kohn represent
School District 99, School District 58, and School District 86.
Counsel discussed scheduling of pre-hearing motions and set April 3, 2017 as the
date for status. If the board needs additional time or there’s no dispositive motion pending,
further dates can be scheduled. If there is a hearing on that day, it will be on the prehearing
motions and status, not the hearing itself.
Ms. Hanzelin moved to accept the April 3, 2017 status date and Ms. Young seconded
the motion and the date was approved after roll call vote. All member voted aye.
