JPL Board Meeting
April 6, 2016

League Members Present:

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by President Beth Klotz at 7:00 pm.
Approval of Minutes:
Motion to approve the Mar 2016 minutes by Nicole Mass, seconded by
Cris Roth
Treasurer’s Report:
Tricia presented current financials.
Clinic Update:
Update on pitching clinics: Amanda Daley is not available. Beth is
waiting for a response from Coach Ted about pitching clinics. Nicole will
reach out to her connection and let Beth know.
Spirit Wear:
Cris presented samples of T-shirts, sweatshirts, blankets. Logo is unisex
for interested baseball parents. Cris will work on order form. Samples
and order forms will be available at field day April 9th.
Game Scheduling:
Saturday April 9th 10U, 12U, 14U, will meet at the VFW in Woodstock to
schedule games. Beth will be there with main calendar. Once games are
set Heather will create a spreadsheet for the Umpire Coordinator. 16U
scheduling day is set for May 15.
Field Update:
Beth will make a couple of more keys for the JHS storage box. The golf
cart will be kept up at Hiller Park. Ray Mendlik has been working on the
fields at the Jr. High in his free time. Field Day set for April 9th weather
permitting. Ray Klotz will go over the new groomer and field prep with
the coaches at field days.
Sunday League:
NISA has a Sunday League in addition to regular season, an additional
team plays only on Sundays. At this time JPL is unable to field teams for
Sunday play but will put information out to parents/coaches see if there
is interest for next season. Tournament teams could possibly be the
Sunday team next year. If more play time is wanted, could schedule
extra games with McHenry for 12U and 14U.

Heather is checking with Tom Ross for school availability for
Picture Day May 14th. Beth will print players conduct waivers
for coaches to hand out.
