TIED MATCHES CRITERIA festival international 2018 U-13 U-15 U-17 U-19 Tied Matches Criteria - Pool Phase (Saturday): I. Direct results between tied teams; II. Largest number of scored tries in the pool phase; III. Team with largest difference in points for and against; IV. The first team to score in the following order: I) Try; II) drops; III) penalties; V Coin toss. Forfeit / Abandonment / Disqualification = All the results obtained with this team, will not be considered on the log table. Tied Matches Criteria - Final Phase (Saturday / Sunday) - U13 | U15 | U17 & U19: I. First team to score in the following order: i) tries; ii) drop kicks; iii) penalties; II. 1 Extra Time “Sudden Death” (1st team to score – 5 minutes; III. Kicking contest: 3 Placed or Drop Kicks on the 22m line (1st Team that does not convert, loses the game). Kicking is executed alternately in the following order: 1st Kick – on the centre of the 22m line | 2nd Kick – on the 15m line, on the left side of posts | 3rd Kick – on the 15m line, on the right side of posts. Tied Matches Criteria - Finals (Sunday) - U13 | U15 | U17 & U19: I. 1 Extra Time "Sudden Death" (1st Team to Score) Period – 5 minutes II. Kicking contest: 3 Placed or Drop Kicks on the 22m line (1st Team that does not convert, loses the game). Kicking is executed alternately in the following order: 1st Kick – on the centre of the 22m line | 2nd Kick – on the 15m line, on the left side of posts | 3rd Kick – on the 15m line, on the right side of posts. If after the first series of 3 kicks, the result is still tied, another group of 3 different players from each team will be chosen to, in the same manner as described above, execute kicks at goal. The winner will be declared after a team has gained advantage after both teams have attempted the same number of kicks. Only the players that ended the match on the playing area will be allowed to take part in the kicking contest.
