Any pupil who ordered a blazer should collect it from
the office as soon as possible
If there are any Highland Dancers from all year groups
(including new S1)
who did not attend the meeting yesterday at lunchtime,
can you please pop in and see Miss Brown (Geography S6)
before the Highland Games on Friday.
This is to organise a short performance for Friday
and so Miss Brown knows how many dancers
there will be on the day.
Can you please ask My Time classes (particularly S1)
if they are interested in the Hockey tournament
we are hosting on 13 September
to come and see Miss Hamilton in the PE department
as soon as possible.
Boys and girls of all years welcome!
All new S1 pupils who play chanter or pipes must attend a
meeting in PAD 2 (Mrs Gage's room)
at 1.30 pm today (Tuesday)
Any pupil who has been learning pipe band drumming on a
Thursday night with Jenny and Euan
must attend a meeting in PAD 1 (Miss Gilvray's room)
at 1.30 pm today (Tuesday)
GFG (Games, Food and God) is a fun Christian group for
S1 to S3 run by H2O.
At GFG we play games, eat food and chat about God together.
GFG will be running from 23 August 2016 at H2O’s centre, The
Well, on Lochavullin Road, from 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm.
Please note - You don’t have to be a Christian to come along to
Xplore or GFG, just happy with the idea of chatting with, and
listening to others about what they do and don’t believe!

Interested in photography? H2O’s Zoooom! may be for you
 Zoooom! meets on Wednesdays from 3.45 – 5.15 pm at
H2O’s base, the Well, on Lochavullin Road.
 Zoooom! is for young people, S1-S6, who are interested in
being part of a sociable creative photo space.
 Zoooom! is a place to find out more about improving your
taking, editing, and creating of photo images in a friendly and
relaxed atmosphere.
 Zoooom! also embark on exciting photo adventures which to
date have included Skye, Iona, Aviemore, Glasgow, Stirling
and Edinburgh.
 Zoooom! will be starting on Wednesday 24 August with a
chatty, gathering to look at the photo year ahead.
 If photography is your thing, please do come along and
check out Zoooom!
Film Club Starts Again
Thursday Lunch in Miss Seacord's Room E6
Bring your lunch to munch. We start promptly at 1.15 pm to
give us as much viewing time as possible.
We will re-start the incomparable "Mr Holmes" this week
starring Ian MacKellan.
Come early for the best seats in the house!
Friday Prayer Group will recommence on Friday 26 August
in A3 (Ossian Classroom)

small games hall beside the dance studio.
S1-S6 Boys & girls welcome.
Gymnastics
Gymnastics squad auditions for dance show will take place
on Monday 29 August at 3.50 pm in the gymnastics hall.
Anyone from S1 to S6 can audition.
Please wear PE kit and prepare one roll, one balance and
three moves of your own choice.
This is the only time you will be able to audition.
The 2016 squad MUST re-audition.

Xplore
 Xplore is a Christian faith exploration group for S4 to S6 run
by Hope 2 Oban (H2O), the local Christian youth work
charity.
 At Xplore we eat together, do daft stuff together and chat
about God together.
 Xplore will be running from 1 September 2016 at H2O’s
centre, The Well, on Lochavullin Rd, from 6 pm to 8 pm.
