Teaching and thesis supervision I have taught undergraduate courses on introductory and advanced macroeconomics, econometrics and time series analysis at the University of Vienna. I have also taught courses in Econometrics at the graduate level at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) in Vienna. As a scientific advisor to the Österreichische Nationalbank I have also taught courses for central bankers on advanced econometrics, panel data analysis, time series analysis, economic growth and exchange rate modelling, in some cases in the framework of the IMF’s Joint Vienna Institute. I have supervised master theses in subjects such as fiscal policy, economic growth, development economics, monetary economics, international economics and labour economics. I am currently supervising doctoral theses on time series analysis, transition economies and environmental economics. In 2007 I led a project at the International Institute for Applied System Analysis (IIASA) on human capital, demography and growth.
