11:59 PM, CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME (CDT).
How to Enter: Complete official entry form available on the MOST 529 website at most529savings.com. ALL
ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE AND RECEIVED BY May 31, 2016 AT 11:59 PM, CDT.
Limit: One official entry form per person. Participants obtain one entry by completing and submitting the
official entry form and may obtain one additional entry by “liking” the MOST 529 Plan on Facebook at
facebook.com/most529 and may obtain one additional entry by following the MOST 529 Plan on Twitter at
twitter.com/most529 (for a possible total of three entries). Multiple entry forms submitted on behalf of the same
entrant in contravention of the official rules, or entries generated by script, macro or other automated means will be
disqualified. Entries sent by mail, fax, or any method other than online submission will not be accepted. No
mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, or altered entries will be accepted. Sponsor, specified below,
is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, damaged, or incorrect entries, whether due to
technical or computer malfunctions or otherwise.
1.
Selection of Winners: On or about June 6, 2016, the winners will be randomly selected from among all
eligible entries received. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Giveaway.
Odds of winning depend upon number of eligible entries received. Sponsor will notify the winners either
by telephone or U.S. Mail at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant
if these Giveaway rules are not followed.
2.
Grand Prize: One Grand Prize winner: One Grand Prize Winner will receive $5,290.00 in the form of a
newly established MOST—Missouri’s 529 College Savings Plan Account (the “Grand Prize Account”).
The Sponsor shall remain the owner of the Grand Prize Account; however, the Grand Prize Winner shall
designate a beneficiary of the Grand Prize Account (“Beneficiary”). The Grand Prize Account will be
invested in accordance with the rules of MOST and investment expenses and losses may result. Investment
selection for the Grand Prize Account shall be made at the discretion of the Sponsor provided, however,
that the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, request and implement investment direction from the Grand
Prize Winner. Grand Prize Account statements will be provided to Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize
Winner will not be permitted to make contributions to the Grand Prize Account. Distributions from the
Grand Prize Account may be used solely to pay tuition and fees at an accredited post-secondary educational
institution in which Beneficiary is enrolled and in good standing and will be made directly to the institution
for the benefit of Beneficiary. In the event Beneficiary does not attend a qualifying post-secondary
educational institution by the time he or she is 25 years old, the Grand Prize Winner may designate a
member of Beneficiary’s family (as defined under Section 529 of the Internal Revenue Code) as alternative
Beneficiary. In the event that the Beneficiary does not attend a qualifying post-secondary educational
institution by his or her 25th birthday and the Grand Prize Winner fails to designate an alternative
Beneficiary within 12 months after that date, the Grand Prize Account may be forfeited.
3.
First Place Winners: Ten First Place winners: Ten first place winners (a “First Place Winner” or,
collectively with the Grand Prize Winner, “Winners” or a “Winner”) will each receive $529.00 paid
directly to a MOST 529 Direct Account for which the First Place Winner is the named account
owner
(existing account or a to-be-established MOST 529 Direct Account) (a “First Place Account” or,
collectively with the Grand Prize Account, “Account” or “Accounts”). The First Place Account will be
invested in accordance with the rules of MOST and investment expenses and losses may result.
4.
Additional Prize Information: Allow 8 to 12 weeks for delivery of prize. Sponsor reserves right to
substitute prize of equal or greater value. No other substitution or transfer of prize permitted. Sponsor is
responsible only for delivery of prize; not responsible for prize utility or otherwise. This Giveaway does
not take into account the personal circumstances of Winners, and/or the beneficiaries or other factors that
may be important in making investment decisions. Winners should consult their own tax advisors about tax
implications, if any, of the Accounts, contributions and/or
withdrawals from the Accounts.
Sponsor
reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if these Giveaway rules are not followed. Prize may be
considered income, and any taxes associated with prize are the responsibility of the Winners.
Prizes may be awarded to an alternate Winner selected in a random drawing from among all remaining
eligible entrants, if the prize notification letter is returned as undeliverable or if three attempts, each on a
separate day, to contact a Winner live by telephone are unsuccessful (no messages will be left). Prize may
be awarded to an alternate Grand Prize Winner if the selected Grand Prize Winner fails to designate the
Beneficiary or otherwise fails to comply with any and all requests for information from Sponsor required in
setting up the Grand Prize Account within 14 days of request. Prize may be awarded to an alternate First
Place Winner if a selected First Place Winner fails to comply with any and all requests for information
from Sponsor required in setting up a First Place Account within 14 days of request.
5.
Eligibility: Giveaway open to individual who are (1) legal residents of the State of Missouri; (2) 18 years
or older as of May 31, 2016; (3) U.S. citizens or resident aliens; (4) have a U.S. Social Security number;
and (5) have a Missouri permanent address that is not a P.O. box. The Grand Prize Winner will designate
Beneficiary who must (1) be under the age of 18 years old as of May 31, 2016; (2) have a U.S. Social
Security number; and (3) be a resident of the State of Missouri. The following individuals are not eligible
to win: (1) members or employees of registered national securities associations and securities exchanges,
and (2) employees, their immediate families, and members of the same household of Sponsor, The
Vanguard Group, Inc., Vanguard Marketing Corporation, Ascensus Broker Dealer Services, Inc., Ascensus
Investment Advisors, LLC, the Missouri Higher Education Savings Program Board, and the Missouri State
Treasurer’s Office.
6.
Miscellaneous and Conditions of Participation: This offer is void where prohibited or restricted by law and
is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Taxes and fees, if any, are the sole
responsibility of the Winners. By participating in this Giveaway, each entrant agrees to be bound by these
official rules and the decisions of Sponsor, and warrants that he or she is eligible to participate in this
Giveaway.
7.
Release and Limitations of Liability: Each entrant agrees, except where prohibited by law, to release and
discharge, hold harmless and indemnify Sponsor, its employees, agents, representatives, officers, and
directors and their immediate families, successors and assigns, and all others associated with the
development and execution of this Giveaway, from any and all tax
liability that may be imposed or
associated with receipt or use of the prize, and from and against any and all claims, actions, proceedings,
and liability for any damages, expenses, fees, injury, or losses sustained in connection with the receipt,
ownership, or use of any prize or while traveling to, preparing for, or participating in any Giveaway-related
activity.
The Sponsor, its trustee, employees, agents and representatives, officers and directors and their immediate
families, successors and assigns, and all others associated with the development and execution of this
Giveaway shall have no responsibility or liability for (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether
caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with this
Giveaway; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunctions, interruptions or
disconnections in telephone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in
any part of the entry process or Giveaway; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the
administration of the Giveaway; or (5) failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled, corrupted or delayed computer
transmissions which my limit an individual’s ability to enter, including any injury or damage to an entrant’s
or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from entering this Giveaway.
8.
Publicity: By entering the Giveaway or by winning, entrants grant to Sponsor, and its affiliated companies,
agents and representatives the right to publicize the entrant's name, photograph, image, likeness, voice,
statements, and biographical information for advertising, trade, and promotion purposes without
compensation and without opportunity for review in all manner and media, in perpetuity, except where
prohibited by law.
9.
The 529 College Savings Day Online Giveaway is a promotional giveaway that will be distributed to any
eligible person who wins the prize. Sponsor is not exchanging the prize for consideration provided by
participants. This Giveaway is not a game of chance or skill. Sponsor reserves the right to change, alter,
or amend these Giveaway rules or to alter, modify, or terminate the Giveaway, as necessary, in its sole
discretion, to ensure the fair administration of the Giveaway or to comply with applicable law. The
Giveaway is not a recommendation to invest in MOST—Missouri’s 529 College Savings Plan. For the
winners’ names, mail your request and a self-addressed envelope to the address listed below.
