Please note that if you miss more than two sessions in a row without informing
us your place may be offered to another family.
This session is an opportunity for you and your
child/children to get involved in a
variety of fun activities together.
As well as having lots of fun together, we hope
that these experiences will also help you make
friends and build supportive
relationships with other families.
Everything we do supports and encourages your
child’s development and is planned using the same
guidelines that are used by pre-schools
and nurseries.
(Early Years Foundation Stage Framework).
Sessions will give you tips and ideas for different
kinds of play activities that you can use at home
with your children.
The session will begin with play time and then the
main activity, which will be
followed by healthy snack time and the session will
end with singing/storytime.
Please remember that you are responsible for your
child at all times. You can help them to join in and
play socially with others. and it is your responsibility
to let us know if they have any allergies and to manage them appropriately.
Our sessions are friendly and welcoming to
everyone who comes and everyone has a part to play in this.
It’s hard for any parent to come into a new group with people
they don’t know, so we often ask parents who have been coming a while to ‘buddy’ new parents attending a group. Keeping
a positive, upbeat atmosphere is everyone’s
responsibility and we really appreciate your help and support
with this.
These sessions are a valuable part of our programme
and give support to parents and their children. New
families are invited to the group regularly and there
will be a time, when you have been attending the
group for some time and feel more confident, that
we ask you and maybe some friends that you have
made, to move onto another group or setting. This is
to ensure that new families are able to receive the
support that you have.
