Rules and Regulations
League Information







Officials will be provided for all games. Please respect the official’s call.
Each team will have 4 weeks’ worth of regular season games followed by a seeded, single
elimination tournament that will run for 2 weeks. (Schedule may change due to signups. You
will be notified if they do.)
o Criteria to determine seeds are as follows (in order):
 # of wins
 Head to head record
 Point differential
Game times are from 5:15pm, 6:15pm, 7:15p.m on Tuesday and Thursday.
Game time is forfeit time.
The Fitness Center is a Sprint facility and such demands the same attention to Sprint’s
Standards of Conduct as any other Sprint facility. Employees are expected to demonstrate the
highest standards of behavior while using the center.
Nonmembers are not allowed to use the gymnasium at any time. This includes spouses,
children, and friends.
Nonmembers are prohibited to be on the court, hang around the players’ bench, and interfere
with the game in any way. Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all
times. Failure to comply may result to ejection of the facility. Nonmembers are welcomed to
view the game outside the gymnasium by glass encased area.
League Rules
Rules are enforced according to The Wiffle Ball Inc. with exceptions listed below. Visit the

A coin flip will determine who makes first call (bat or take field).
Match will consist of 5 innings or 50 minutes (whichever comes first).
There will be no additional innings in the event of a tie; games can end in a tie.
Teams will consist of 7 players. A team may start and/or finish with 2 players, in which one
player will be the pitcher and the other the catcher. There can only be a max of 5 players on
the field at all times.
Substitutions can be made at any time; please inform the officials before doing so.
Catcher must be at least 3 feet away from the batter and behind home plate until the ball is
hit. The catcher cannot interfere with the batter.
A team’s batting order cannot change after first pitch.
There is no bunting.
You may not wear gloves during defense.
There will be no timeouts.
There are no “walks”.
A batted ball which hits an overhead obstruction such as the ceiling or basketball goal will be
treated as a FLY ball. If caught before touching the ground or another object, it shall be an
out.
A batted ball that strikes the ceiling shall be considered fair or foul according to where the
ball first hits the ground (NOT WHERE IT ROLLS).
The Recreation and Activities Coordinator will handle all protests and appeals.
