Question 11. On page 12, under “Security and Compliance Requirements”, can you expand
on:
Authentication of valid College of Charleston students and employees must be
via LDAP services to the College’s Active Directory, via the College’s Cougar
Trail web portal authentication, or via the College’s ID card system?
College’s Response:
If students or employees need to be identified for any purposes such as discount
tickets, tracking of incentives/points, or other special promotions, then the
validation must be done against the College’s local authentication files. Copies
of this information will not be sent off-campus for validation at hosted site.
Question 12. What is the LDAP? Are students admitted to game through their ID cards?
Does there need to be a constant connection to the card system?
College’s Response:
Students must have their ID cards swiped for validation against the
campus Blackboard Idcard system when they pick up their tickets at the
entrance at the time of the event. Athletics department currently uses a
wireless scanner device to connect to the Blackboard system to validate
these ID’s. If tickets need to simultaneously need to be scanned, it
would be ideal to use the same scanners.
Question 13. Is College of Charleston agreeable to consider changes to your standard terms
and conditions that are listed beginning on page 19?
College’s Response: Please see response to Question 8 above.
Questions submitted by TicketReturn LLC

consideration of our response to RFP? Is this a mandatory requirement?

but it will be reflected on the evaluation of the proposal.
