What makes a great 4-H story! For level III (ages 11-13) and IV (ages 14-19) The 4-H story should be a summary of some of your project experiences. It should include what you learned from studying your project. It may include your feelings and thoughts about your overall experience in 4-H this past year. You can also discuss how you might apply what you’ve learned in the past year in 4-H to your life in the future. To help you make a great 4-H story you may want to include the answers to the following questions: What was the most important thing that I learned from the 4-H project that I studied this year? What skills or knowledge did I gain, as a result of my 4-H project? If I were to study this project again what would I do differently? What have I experienced or learned this year by being a 4-H club member that I would not have done otherwise? What was my favorite 4-H activity or event this year and why? Overall, my experience in 4-H this year has helped me with the following: How will what I learned in 4-H in the past year help me prepare for my future goals in life? What has being in 4-H meant to me in the past year? *This sheet can be used as a guide to help members write their 4-H story The Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) is an Equal Opportunity Institution authorized to provide research, educational information and other services only to individuals and institutions that function with non-discrimination with respect to race, creed, color, religion, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, political opinions or affiliations.
