About the Speakers
Tami Tactacan, CBAP is the 2017 IIBA-SVC Chapter President. She has over 25 years of experience
as a Business Analyst and is currently a Business Solutions Analyst at K-LOVE and Air1 Radio
Networks. She was the 2016 VP of Education & Certification for the IIBA-SVC Chapter, which
helped her and some of her study group participants pass the CBAP exam for the BABOK v2. Tami
loves sharing about what she knows about obtaining her CBAP.
Kris Miller, CBAP is the 2017 VP of Membership. She received her CBAP certification in December
2012 and has a bachelor’s degree in International Business from San Jose State University. Kris is
also currently working as a Business Analysis on-line course instructor thru the UC Davis
Extension program. Kris has also previously served on the IIBA-SVC Chapter board as VP of
Education & Certification in 2015. Kris is excited to share her knowledge about IIBA certifications.
Kamal Lemseffer is the 2017 IIBA-SVC Chapter VP of Education & Certification. He currently works
as a Data Resource Analyst at the University of California at Davis. He has been working in the
field of software development and design for over 30 years. Kamal was a student in the 2016
CBAP Study Group and shares a passion for teaching others about BABOK v3.

Business analysis is the set of tasks and techniques used to work as
a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure,
policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend
solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

Practice of enabling change in an enterprise by defining needs and

analysis enables an enterprise to articulate needs and the rationale

CCBA & CBAP EXAM
About the Exam
Level 2: The CCBA® exam is 3 hours long and consists of 130 multiple choice questions. The
questions are scenario-based (i.e. candidate must do a bit of analysis to arrive at the answer).
Level 3: The CBAP® exam is 3.5 hours long and consists of 120 multiple choice questions. The
questions are case study-based (i.e. longer cases (1-1.5 pages) of information) with multiple
questions about the case.
