One of the things I have most enjoyed about Bridge and Hope meeting together is the fact that there are more of us
on a Sunday morning! We have probably all got used to it now, but I still remember some of our first meetings
together with an extra 20 or 30 people, really enjoying being part of a bigger family. It is very easy to feel isolated or
alone in our workplaces or neighbourhood and so it is great to being able to gather with 80 or so like minded people
on a Sunday morning. Now imagine gathering with 5,000 like minded people, filling the Brighton Conference Centre!
The Newfrontiers Leadership / Mobilise Conference is impacting on many levels, but worshipping together with
this number of people never ceases to encourage me. Online booking for the Conference is now possible with the
first price cut off approaching fast (Tues 10th Mar). If you’ve never stood with 5,000 people worshipping God, you
need to! Why not prayerfully consider going to the Conference this year (see below for more details).
And if you’re not a student / in your 20’s (Mobilise) or don’t see yourself as a leader (Leadership Conference), please
don’t feel excluded. If we are going to double in size, we are going to need people who don’t see themselves as
leaders, stepping into all sorts of leadership roles. So go on, book in!
One other piece of news – we have mentioned on a number of occasions about the possibility of renting the “Robusto
Café” building on Filton Ave. We have recently heard from the Letting Agents that an offer on the property has been
accepted. So at the moment it looks like God has closed this door.

church that increasingly represents the ethnically diverse city in which we live. This conference, drawing on the vast

Newday Global Teams– Since our first Newday Global adventure in 2006, teams of young people have been going
out to the nations experiencing a unique and exciting first hand taste of church planting in another culture. In summer
2009 we are taking more young people to the nations. Do you have a sense that God is calling you to go overseas at
some point in the future? Are you serious about following Jesus whole heartedly? Are you aged between 16 and 19?
