HELP US CELEBRATE 15 YEARS OF SUPPORT AND AWARENESS
B.U.D.S. will be hosting our 15th Annual Buddy Walk on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at the Jaycees Community
Building, 2180 Airport Road. Huntsville, AL from 10 am to 2 pm. The goal of the Buddy Walk is to promote Down
syndrome awareness. The funds we raise allow us to continue our efforts to support and educate families of our
community of North Alabama. Last year, we had over 600 people take part in our local advocacy walk.
The walk was started by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 and has grown from 17 walks to now over 280
walks across the globe. Since the Buddy Walk was created, over 2 million people have participated in a Buddy Walk
worldwide.
We are inquiring to see if your company is interested in supporting this year’s event. Your contribution will help raise
dollars to support our local programs. Your support will help all people with Down syndrome take steps for a brighter
tomorrow.
