Recruitment for Head Coaching position for under category Japan Men’s Basketball Teams
1. Requirements
 Applicant must be able to coach under category men’s Japan National basketball teams
(U16/17 and U18/19) throughout a year, as a full-time head coach.
 Applicant has to hold coaching license certified by Japan Basketball Association (JBA), or
holds similar license or qualification(s).
 Applicant must have international coaching experience and achi evements.
 Applicant must have extensive familiarity with development program of the world.
※We do not consider applicant’s current affiliation and position.
2. Job Description
1） To coach men’s under category Japan National basketball teams in training and games.
2） To coach players of the under age category national team selected by JBA.
3） Talent scouting and developing young prospects (e.g. in basketball clinics) with the
potential of playing for the national team in the future.
4） Cooperation to activities such as basketball clinics, publicity and promotion, fan service
and social contribution programs.
5） Other duties assigned by JBA.
3. Application
 Applicants must submit Standard Curriculum Vitae (Resume) with personal information,
educational background, coaching experience, publications, other necessary information,
and photo taken within the last 3 months. (H4cm × W3cm)
 Copies of coaching license and other qualifications
 A concise summary of the applicant's perspective on development policy and plan
towards 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, enhancement of under age category,
effective management of staffs, network with international and national coaches.

5. Salary
We would decide salary based on your past salary and other necessary considerations.
6. Others
 Basically, the contract would be for multiple years. We would discuss the terms with the
applicant.
 Also, we would discuss with the applicant on the starting date of the contract.
