inhabitants, profile of the population, main economic activities, infrastructures, access to services,

Explain in details the problem which your project is trying to solve or contribute solving. Please
mention any relevant surveys, baseline data or studies that helped you identify the specific needs
of the targeted population. Mention the coping strategies that people have developed to lower the
impact of the problem. Some adaptation mechanisms are indeed harmful on the mid to long term.
If so, please explain here. Your project should then be answering some of the needs and gaps
detailed in this section. Feel free to include tables, graphs or any other supporting material.

A. CO-FUNDING
As indicated in the Call for Proposals, an SDF project can only be funded for a maximum of 70%
of the project costs. Please explain here how you will find complementary resources from your

E. SELECTION OF BENEFICIARIES

Start by explaining how you will select the beneficiaries of your project. The selection criteria must
be impartial, gender sensitive and based on objective socio-economic data. Religious or ethnic
discrimination would disqualify your project for further consideration. Explain the beneficiary
identification mechanisms, the surveys and community gatherings that were/will be conducted in
that regard. Mention if the project will benefit indirect beneficiaries.
F. ACTIVITIES

Detail all activities included in the project. For each of them explain why you chose these activities
and modalities of implementation and which beneficiaries will be targeted. Explain how you expect
these activities to have a sustainable impact beyond the actual project duration.

Describe how you plan to involve the local authorities in the design, implementation, monitoring
and evaluation phases of the project.

implementation, monitoring and evaluation phases of the project to ensure sustainability beyond
project duration.
