Dancehouse is about people. We have a great community of people who support each other and support the development
of our program, by becoming Dancehouse Members. Please join us, show your support for Dancehouse and receive some
great benefits.
A Dancehouse membership will put you at the heart of a passionate, articulate and supportive community. It gives you
access to Dancehouse’s research and development opportunities such as the Housemate Residency, Space Grants and
Learning Curve programs, and it saves you money! Our members pay less on just about everything that we do and are the
first to receive information about what is happening at the centre.
There are two types of membership available:
Standard Membership
BECOME A DANCEHOUSE STANDARD MEMBER TO RECEIVE:
• Up to 25% discount on tickets to our performance program
• Up to 33% discount on rehearsal studio hire (the cheapest in Melbourne)
• Discounts on Dancehouse workshops
• Discounts on advertising through Dancehouse (dance or movement related material)
• The chance to win free workshop passes or tickets throughout the year
• Dancehouse newsletters and fliers delivered to your door
• Regular email updates and special offers
• Eligibility for Dancehouse’s Housemate Residency Program, Learning Curve and Space Grants

BECOME A DANCEHOUSE PREMIUM MEMBER TO RECEIVE:
All of the benefits of a Standard Member Plus...
• A DANCEALOT CARD
A DANCEALOT CARD gives you 1 FREE HOUR FOR EVERY 10 you hire for rehearsal and creative development
purposes (does not include teaching and performance hire). We give you a card, you bring it in when you use the
space, we stamp it and when you accumulate 10 hours, we give you an additional hour (to be used at another time)
absolutely free. Then, we give you another card and you start all over again. It’s that simple!
IT’S EASY TO BECOME A PREMIUM MEMBER:
New Members
To become a PREMIUM MEMBER straight away and gain access to the DANCEALOT CARD, new members can pay an
additional $10 on their first year’s membership.
To become a member, simply fill out your details and send in this form with your payment.
Existing Members
All you need do is renew your membership before your current membership expires and pay all of your outstanding
invoices by their due date, and you will automatically gain PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP - FREE.
(Applies to all renewals after January 1, 2008)
Existing members who do not renew on time, but wish to receive a Dancealot card can pay an extra $10.
Organisational members are NOT eligible for the Dance A lot card.

through Arts Victoria, Department of Premier and Cabinet, and is supported by the City of Yarra through the use of the Dancehouse facility.
