Team Nominations
Please pay close attention to the following procedure for nominating teams:
1. We need you to nominate your singles players and your doubles pairs in current order of strength
using a simple chart.
2. The 26 January 2012 World Ranking list will determine your team ranking order and this may
override your nominations submitted on the attached form. It is important to remember that BWF
Competition Regulations 12.6.1 and 12.6.2 will apply for doubles pairings. Your pairs therefore
must be listed in order of “Points”. If the pair does not have at least 8 results together counting for
the World Ranking, their “Notional Ranking Point” must be taken into account.
Attached is the official form for you to complete and return to Badminton Europe not later than 31
January 2010.
IMPORTANT!
Incorrect forms will NOT be accepted. If forms are handed in incorrect, Badminton Europe
will correct the form, but will charge the Member Association a fee of 100,00 EUR for the
inconvenience.

Example where the maximum of 10 nominations are made. First you nominate your players in
singles ranking order from A to J, then you rank your pairings. In this case 26 pairs have been
nominated (1-26) – but it is possible to nominate up to 45 pairs in this example. It is allowed to
nominate as many pairs as you want.
