be sent home additional weekly tasks to help you with your
current strategy. Please ensure these are completed each
week and handed in to your group’s teacher.

As part of our P7 duties we will be selling poppies to raise
funds for Poppyscotland but do you know who they are and
what they do? You should research facts about
Poppyscotland and be prepared to share with the class in
any way you like. It could be a poster, imovie, leaflet, chat
etc. Check www.poppyscotland.org.uk/ for some
information.
Share with someone at home the different parts of the
learning pit. Can you think of any times you have been in
the learning pit and what you did to get out to that eureka
moment!?
With your family, carve a Halloween pumpkin. Remember
to take care with safety! You can bring it in to share with
the class or take a photo which you can email or send
through class dojo.

Be a Game Maker
Record an activity that you have undertaken recently and
discuss the skills that you have developed whilst doing it.
Help with jobs around the home/ garden. You can choose
to do mini or bigger tasks e.g. take the rubbish out or
wash the car. Whatever you choose ensure you are
spending 30 minutes on it each week.
Using what we have been learning about probability, design
a board game that uses the correct terms, fractions and
percentages. Could you play this game with a classmate or
two?

Record an activity that you have undertaken recently and
discuss the skills that you have developed whilst doing it.
Find out some facts about the history of either Halloween
or Guy Fawkes and share these with your classmates.
Bake anything you like at home. You can bring in the recipe
to share with the class, take photos to show your audience
what you did or bring it in if you like.

Homework grid should be completed within four weeks. The 4 compulsory tasks must be completed and then you must choose 4 more additional tasks.

