KB – to pay overdrawn amount SD paid $9 out of her pocket. SD – can
you take off my fees please? CT – All agree? ALL IN FAVOUR
TW – re overdue fees – is it easier to go by team? KB – not linked
between TidyHQ and MYOB.
CT – have requested the 90+ invoices to be sent to me, no regos should
be taken if they still owe for last winter season.
KB – are there any that need to be written off? CT about 4 that haven’t
played at all.
SD – MOTION – Any players that owe from 2016 season of winter (or
older) should not be allowed to register for the 2017 winter season
until fees are paid in full. ALL AGREE
Registrar Report:
No Report
 MT –State teams decided they do want to go to Kalamunda pre-state,
have booked in.
 U10s and U13s played well at Forrestfield carnival.
 Grading has come out from TBAWA – both are B
 CT – all nominations are due by 25th. MT – need to chase up a couple
birth certificates.
 CT – softball registrations due soon

CT – Prior to Christmas COA sent an email requesting all equip to be
packed away, ND cleaned up equip, may need some help.
MF – took a couple of gazebos, Jamie Giddens still has them, will keep
until the end of pre-state SD – we will need most for Saturday teeball.
Canteen Report:

CT – prior to Christmas exec decided MT will be in charge of canteen.
Purchasing and opening (not close) messaged new committee members
to help out. We felt ND had too much on his plate, and this will allow
him to control property. MT – I will need to leave around 11 to get to
South Perth.
Funding Report:








Mel G – have done a member survey, and found some fundraising
options
Mel G – name needs to be changed in emails
CT – last weekend fundraising for state teams TS – raised $1150.15. All
players got vouchers for $50 from fielder’s choice.
CT – BBQ prior to Christmas to help raise funds for members in state
and all-stars competitions made $973.60 (Taine, Harrison, and Diesel)
we need to decide how much we give them {Dec meeting agreed on
splitting profits between players and club}. KB - $300 each, keep
$73.60 for club. Vote. MAJORITY AGREE
CT – More of our players have made Charter baseball teams, should
allow others to have the same opportunity.
CT – for those that are staying in the committee – we should start with
Super Squad and everyone who reps the club.
TS –once charter bbq fundraiser out of the way can the state kids
fundraise for a windup.
TS – one IGA gift cars worked, the other didn’t. [SD checked card online
and it is valid]
Softball Report:




CT – Ladies team doing well, men’s teams playing.
CT - DDMSA – need delegates, compulsory meetings 4th Wednesday
every month. $25 fine for nonattendance.
CT – Softball WA holding accreditations – all coaches should be put
through. Curses are really good.
Lvl 1 – 19th March
Lvl 2 – 23rd April
Lvl 3 – 21st May
CT – Registrations discussed at last meeting to start January. SD – will
do on TidyHQ. Will use last years $ for now.

MT – Luuca, Harrison, Taine, Riley, Seth chosen for Southern Hills Little
League Charter team.
SD – Malakai and Georgia chosen for Southern Hills Junior League
Charter team.
Ct – MP parents were sent emails for expressions of interest for MP
state champs Easter weekend.
CT – posted on coaches’ page for interest in baseball coaching course $50 club will need to pay.
CT – Charter meeting 31st Jan at Roleystone – anyone interested?
Teeball Report:





CT – cancelled our carnival, not enough teams.
State 4th-6th March for supporters @ Langley Park
CT – a state player was injured, told 6 weeks to recover. We asked for
updates, didn’t receive. Miscommunication between teams head coach
(HC) and myself. HC informed player he wasn’t in the team, half an
hour after I emailed saying the player was still part of the team subject
to some conditions [doctor’s clearance and fitness test]. The player’s
mother posted a negative status on Facebook naming the club. We
asked for it to be removed as it named the club. The post was removed.
After the meeting on Thursday for all state parents the player gave a
verbal resignation from the team [without undergoing fitness test]. We
have been informed the player’s mother was “bad mouthing”
club/players at the pre-state carnival over the weekend. An email was
sent to the mother today.
CT – Again more miscommunication with another player being told
they were in the team, as well as telling the team. This was not agreed
upon, and the coach will be spoken to about communication.
SD- we would like to have it understood, the player who was injured
was not “kicked off” the team, they resigned prior to fitness test being
carried out.
CT – all representative players will be sent contract as soon as my
computer is working.




SD – last game 25th Feb, State weekend, windup 11th March (Mel G, TS,
DJ, MA, MF will organise and help out with windup)
Mel G – SD can you send bouncy castle guys contact. SD – will do
CT – Baseball ends in April, Softball ends 14th March – windups to be
organised.
CT – trophy shop closed atm SD – have some trophies for men’s and
ladies softball. Will need to order for teeball/ baseball MT – cost? SD –
low as we can.

TW – no emails received.
CT – publicity/fundraising/property – over holidays sold coffee
machine. Have {new} black pants and old softball shirts for sale. $10
each
CT – prior to Christmas we discussed TW taking over website again as it
is part of publicity. Will email ND to ask for password
CT – the blue on blue looked good in pictures [training and game shirts]
Mel G – the concept was good, colour not so good. CT thinking of
changing undershirt to white or grey for winter. Everyone agrees.
MT – how do I pay for things in canteen? KB – there is canteen petty
cash
KB – states photos? CT – and softball {men’s and ladies}, little league,
Machine pitch along with state. SD – Midland photos sent something
out – will look into it.
CT – will need to go to a game for vets – state will need to wait for
uniform.
KB – state umpire accreditation? SD – still waiting on email back from
TBAWA
CT – Will need to pay $$ for plate umpiring at state. $50/game – Geoff,
Tammie, Leanne?
