The P.E department is recruiting pupils for the
following roles:
Young Ambassadors
This is an initiative led by SportsScotland. Two pupils from every
school in Scotland are invited to be 'Young Ambassadors'. This
involves taking an active leadership role in our school and with our
sports provision. If you are interested please see Mr Cavani before
the end of term. Suitable for S5 or S6 pupils only. This is an excellent
opportunity to enhance your personal statements and C.Vs. Pupils
should have a passion for Sport and improving initiatives within
Dunoon Grammar School.

Hamish MacLellan and Linzi Melville.
The P.E department is recruiting pupils for the
following roles:
Active Schools - Leadership Academy
We have a similar role for our pupils aged 14+. You can join the
Active Schools initiative that is called the leadership academy. This is
an Argyll and Bute initiative that encourages young people to improve
their leadership skills through sport. Pupils receive numerous types
of training and attend conferences. An overnight residential stay, a
first aid course and a sport-specific coaching course are included in
the £45 price. If you are interested, please see Mr Cavani. At this
stage you only have to give me your name to demonstrate your
interest.
Argyll & Bute Youth Forum
Summer Activities
The attached list of activities (see next slides) are free and
open to all 1st to 4th year pupils.
Alan & Helen (youth workers) will be available in the Forum at
lunchtime all week for those interested and want to sign up.
Could all pupils who have textbooks from the
Business & Computing Department (Computing,
Business Management and Admin & IT) please
return these to the department as soon as
possible.
