EE MUSIC EUROPE AWARDS 2015
REGULATION AND JUDGING CRITERIA
SUBMISSION FORM
1. CONTEXT
1.1
EE MUSIC – The European Initiative for Scaling Up Energy
Efficiency in the Music Event Industry, aims to create a dialogue
amongst leaders of the music industry on how to establish an efficient and
sustainable energy music culture in Europe. EE MUSIC workshops and
training events share skills on energy management for the industry for
many affected groups: promoters, production professionals and energy
consultants, as well as venue owners and operators. The programme is
active in 27 countries.
For more information on EE MUSIC: www.ee-music.eu
1.2
EE MUSIC is supported and co-funded by the Intelligent Energy Europe
(IEE) Programme of the European Union, which offers a helping hand
to organisations willing to improve energy sustainability. Launched in 2003
by the European Commission, the programme is part of a broad push to
create an energy-intelligent future for us all. It supports EU energy
efficiency and renewable energy policies, with a view to reaching the EU
2020 targets (20% cut in greenhouse gas emissions, 20% improvement in
energy efficiency and 20% of renewables in EU energy consumption).

and compare their performance to industry averages. They can provide a
foundation for effective energy management strategies and are helping to build a
Europe-wide understanding of energy use in the music events sector.
