The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the organisation’s decision to introduce a change in that will impact staff. I regret to inform you that your position has been selected as redundant. In making this selection we have considered the current structure against the organisation’s needs and operational efficiency. Your position has been selected as [ReasonForSelection]. At this stage, we want to consult with you so that you understand the reasons for the introduction of these changes and how they will affect your employment. We have considered measures we might viably take in an effort to mitigate or avert the adverse effect of these changes to the organisation. For instance we have considered [MeasuresToMitigate].
