Chairman’s Report - Padnell Rovers FC 2016/17 Season
Introduction
Padnell Rovers (PRFC) were formed in the summer of 2014 starting out with 9 teams.
Padnell initially played all their home games at Padnell recreation ground before moving to Paulsgrove where finally settling at Beacon View Academy
school and Sevenoaks Playing fields nearby.
The club boast of a mini soccer school which we see as the base of our club and we will always look to produce new under 7 teams each season from
our mini soccer school.
We are proud to say we are a charter standard club recognised by our leagues and of course Hampshire FA.
With this in mind, the club has had to meet various standards and pass certain criteria in order for our club to exist, this includes ensuring the
safeguarding of our children which is paramount, ensuring all coaches are CRC checked and FA level one qualified or above, ensuring our club has a
correct structure in place off the field. We are pleased to say we meet all of the above and more.
We aim to promote a friendly club where everyone is welcome, we are currently looking at expanding and strengthening the club as a whole across the
board this season with various positive changes being put into place for the 2017/18 season.
We hope you all enjoy your time with us as a club and we hope your child progression and their love of the game continues to grow.
Many Thanks for your continued support

Chairman’s Report - Padnell Rovers FC 2016/17 Season
Mini Soccer School
The Mini Soccer School launched in February ’17 with initial success.
The overall concept meets the club’s strategy of bringing in players early to
develop them through the various aged teams.
Recent communications and social media/website output has increased interest
in these sessions with a view to push this continually ensuring full activity during
school half and summer term periods.
Where we can send people to the website for more information and contact form
to sign-up.
More work is required to promote and develop the offering with the potential of
an U7 team starting next season (Sept ‘17)
Claire George is managing the registrations and communications to all parents.
Chairman’s Report - Padnell Rovers FC 2016/17 Season
Development
The strategy at PRFC is to invest in development of the staff, managers and
coaches as a reward for volunteering their time.
The benefit of this investment will be directly felt by the teams and parents
and shows a willingness to the club that members are looking to invest their
own time to move the club forward.
There are a couple of ways we are looking to push this:
- FA Level 1 Coaching Course
- FA Goalkeeping Level 1 Course
- Emergency Aid Course
- Safeguarding Course

Development – Emergency First Aid

confidence to be able to attend a conscious or unconscious casualty, ensuring that appropriate care is given
until the emergency medical services arrive and takeover, or until an alternative healthcare professional(s),
