What is Ranch Ehrlo?
Ranch Ehrlo Society is a non-profit, registered
charitable organization dedicated to providing a
range of quality assessment, treatment, education
and support services that improves the social and
emotional functioning of children and youth referred
to our programs.
What is Sport Venture?
Ehrlo Sport Venture aims to reduce the barriers to
participation in sport and physical activity for youth
in and around Regina’s inner city. Sport Venture
currently offers four drop-in sports leagues: hockey,
basketball, soccer and football. Sport Venture
also lends sport equipment to organizations and
individuals through the Sport Venture Library.
All programs are offered free of charge to
participants and are staffed by volunteers from in and
around the Regina community.
Sport Venture Library
The Ehrlo Sport Library loans sports equipment
to more than 100 different community groups,
organizations, and individuals for the purpose of
facilitating sports within Regina.

Ehrlo Basketball League
May-June
The Ehrlo Basketball
League (EBL) offers the
opportunity for youth aged
8 to 18 to continue to play
basketball after the regular
season is over. EBL is
offered at four locations in
Regina’s inner-city, with two
age groups available to participants (junior - age
8 to 12 and senior - ages 13 to 18). EBL begins
with a kick-off skills camp in May and continues
for approximately six weeks. The seasons wraps
up in June with a tournament.
Ehrlo Soccer League
June-August
The Ehrlo Soccer League
(ESL) begins with a kickoff skills camp in June, the
ESL continues through the
summer in three locations.
Instruction is given by
community volunteers. The
parks face-off against each
other at the season ending tournament. This league is
available to youth ages 8 to 18.
Ehrlo Monday Night Football
League
August-October
Ehrlo Monday Night Football League (MNF) is a
touch football league for boys and girls aged 8 to 18.
Starting with a skills camp
attended by Saskatchewan
Roughriders and the Regina
Prairie Thunder, the season
begins in late August. Youth
play weekly at five fields
throughout Regina’s innercity and culminates in a
wrap-up tournament
in October.
Ehrlo Outdoor
Hockey League
December-March
The Ehrlo Outdoor
Hockey League (OHL)
began in 1993 as a
project to outfit 10
young people in
hockey gear. Since then,
the OHL has dressed
over 350 youth per year at seven rinks
throughout Regina.
There are two age divisions in the OHL: Atom
(12 and under) and Bantam (13-18). The season
generally includes weekly play and one or two
tournaments. Each year in November youth begin
receiving the equipment necessary to play for the
season. The borrowed equipment is due back to the
league at the end of the season.
Ehrlo Sport Venture aims
to reduce the barriers to
participation in sport and
physical activity for youth.
