Bosch unveils new eBike innovations and brands
for 2017 at Interbike
Reutlingen, Germany / Irvine, CA – Bosch eBike Systems North America
(www.bosch-ebike.us) is bringing several new products to the North American
market for Model Year 2017. These innovations – Purion, PowerPack 500, and
the Compact Charger – and more will be on display at Bosch’s Interbike 2016
booth (#5271) and available for experiencing first hand at the Interbike indoor
test track “The Circuit”.
Purion: Design meets functionality
Purion is a minimalistic on-board computer designed for anyone who wishes to
focus on the most important riding information such as the riding mode, range or
trip distance and prefers a cleaner handlebar. Purion is perfect for both city and
trail riding.

Everything under control: While riding, Purion is operated directly and
conveniently using your thumbs while your hands remain on the
handlebar. The service interval display issues a reminder to pay a visit to
the dealer. Purion, along with the Intuvia display now, both feature a
walk-assist function.
PowerPack 500: More range, same size
The new PowerPack 500 is by far the most powerful eBike battery. 25% more
range with additional weight of just 4% compared to the PowerPack 400,
resulting in an industry-leading energy density of 190 Wh/kg.

PowerPack 500 remains in the same form-factor as the PowerPack 400
frame and rack-type batteries. This makes it easy for existing eBike
customers to upgrade from 400 Wh to 500 Wh for those seeking greater
range.
Compact Charger: Small enough for travelling
The Compact Charger is the perfect charger for anyone making long journeys
with their eBike. It is 40% smaller and 30% lighter than the Standard Charger and
fits easily into any saddlebag.
