SQUAD AGREEMENT:
As a member of the squad, I fully understand and agree to the following conditions and agree and understand the
Club Selection Policy and the Codes of Conduct of Players/Parents/Guardians respectively :1) I realise that I have been selected as a member of the squad for my ability, commitment and hard work. As a
member of the squad I will endeavour to work hard to make the Squad a success.
2) I will support and respect fellow Squad members at all times. I know that negative comments or intimidation
towards other Squad members will not be accepted and that such comments can only demoralise a fellow
member.
3) Squads for tournaments will be selected by the team Coach/Manager. I am fully aware and happy that if selected,
I may have to share my position and in some cases player fewer games than other Squad members.
4) Squads for league games will be selected by team Coaches/Managers. I realise that such selections will be based
on my performance and development during training and local league games. I am fully aware and happy that if
selected, I may have to share my position and in some cases may not play a full match or on some occasions
may play none of the match at all. Being selected as a squad member, does not automatically guarantee match
play. Every team needs reserves and the coach will endeavour to play any reserves, if feasible. If you are
selected as a sub for a fixture, the coach will discuss this with you at training before the fixture.
5) I will at all times respect any decisions made by my Coach or Manager. I understand that Squad selections are
made to win games and not glorify individuals.
6) At quarter/ half time/full time, players should get their drinks and then go to the coach/squad leader and not to
their parents. This is the time to listen, even if you don’t agree!
7) Players should not wander off during matches or tournaments, unless they have informed their coach as to where
they are going. They need to stay together as a squad, otherwise they may miss the start of a game.
