2012 High School Basketball Summer League - Carroll Player Packet Presented by: Elevate Your Game 7th annual Top 64 Summer Basketball League is an exposure league for high school basketball players in Midwest Iowa. Players can expect these highlights: Top competition in the state Exposure to college coaches- Stats and on-site attendance 8 weeks of competitive games League MVP award Player of the week awards Individual “Top 64 “ All-league awards Top Rebounder award Top Scorer award Opportunity to network with other players Single elimination tournament Uniforms for every player “Having our players participate in the Top 64 League has made a BIG impact on our program. Kirby Pettitt, All-State player, Carroll High The best basketball players in Midwest Iowa are invited to play in an exposure High School basketball league. The summer league will be for the top varsity players in the area. Who can Play? Freshmen through Seniors are invited to play. All players will be drafted on different teams according to their ability. Players from the same school WILL be playing on the same team. Kids from 25 different high schools played last summer. When and Where? League games will be played every Sunday afternoon starting on May 20th through July 8th. Games will start between 11:00 and 5:30. All games will be played in Carroll. How much does it Cost? $160 per player. Uniforms will be given to each player. How many Games? Each team will play at least 7 weeks. Week 7 will be reserved for the tournament first round with the final four and championship games on week 8. What Exposure? D-II, D-III, NAIA and Junior College coaches from the region will be invited to attend. Will Stats be kept? All game scores, records and stats for scoring and rebounds will be kept. They will be accessible at www.top64.net Will the games be refereed? Yes, all games will have at least 2 state registered officials. Who will the coaches be? Each team will have a volunteer/parent coach. Their main responsibility will be to manage playing time. League End Awards! MVP and league awards will be given out to the top performers. Where do I sign up? Fill out the requested form with payment. Top 64 will then contact you regarding your team and your first game. Alumni of the Top 64 league have played at: Central College, U of Albany, U of Iowa, Northern Iowa, Denver University, Wayne State, Simpson, DMACC, Iowa Wesleyan, Loras, Buena Vista, Morningside, Dana, Coe, Washburn, Northwestern, Wartburg, Grinnell College, Northern State, Iowa Central CC and many more to come.
