We are honored to have been selected as the local charity partner for the tournament,” says Brock Yetso, UCF President & CEO. “As a former collegiate UVA soccer player, this is an event that is close to my heart paring my love of soccer with my passion for the cancer fight.” The Headers for Hope Tournament provides coaches and players an opportunity to play some of the best teams in women’s college soccer, while also providing teams the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people affected by cancer. All day tickets will be $10 at the gate. “I am delighted that we will partner with the Ulman Cancer Fund again for 2014,” said Louise Waxler, founder of Headers For Hope. “The ability to raise awareness about the risks of cancer to our college athletes and young soccer players is our ultimate goal. Our partnership with the UCF provides us with the opportunity to spread the word and to help make a difference in saving the lives of those we love.” For further information, please see the event website: www.headersforhope.org.
