How to work out the average GCSE Points Score
To help guide you when choosing appropriate courses, each subject has an entry criteria which is based on
the average GCSE Points Score achieved by students. This uses national data which assesses how students
have performed in the past and gives a Points Score which is displayed on each subject insert.
Each GCSE & Equivalent grade is given a value as follows:
