Hole 10
This is a Google Earth shot of Hole 10 from the clubhouse at the top
to the green at the bottom. Hole 9 green is on the right side, Hole 18
green is left of 10 beside the lake. Hole 10 is approximately 190
yards long. A practice putting green is beside the tee box behind the
clubhouse. As you can see, we will also have a cart path crossing the
hole about halfway. We will have marshals around the tee box, each
side of the cart path crossing, and the green. We will probably not
know the walkover from 9 green or the walk off from 18 green until
the weekend before the tournament.
This is a photograph of Hole 10 looking from the tee box to the green.
You can see the cart path that crosses the hole. Because of the large traps
and the natural grass areas, we will not know the roping around the hole
until the weekend before the tournament. From Golf Course Guru, “The
logical play is aerial to this green that is twice as wide as it is deep and
features edges that slope away from the putting surface.” We will have
our challenges with crowd control and movement but we WILL get it
done.
