GUIDANCE NOTES
1.
The applicant must be a corporate member of CIBSE (i.e. Fellow, Member or
Associate grade) and a Partner or Director of the firm to be listed. Only one
application per practice should be submitted; branch offices should liaise with
their head office to avoid duplication.
2.
The applicant on behalf of the firm must have three years experience in the
capacity of Principal and the company must have been in business for at least
2 years.
3.
The Directory is a fully searchable, online document accessible on the CIBSE
website www.cibse.org .
4.
Details of the annual subscription rates to be on the Directory are given below.
The subscription year runs from 1 January to 31 December. Companies
joining after 1 September 2016 will have their subscription run until 31
December 2017. The cost depends on the size of the company. For the
purposes of this Directory a small firm is one employing less than 10 people.
A large firm is one employing 10 or more people. These numbers are for all
staff of the firm not just building services engineers. Cheques should be
made payable to “CIBSE Services Ltd”.
