News In brief:

Stay & Play (Foundation) – great support
again this morning from our Foundation
parents – and an enjoyable time was had by
all – appreciated !
Sports Morning (Years 1-6) – hopefully
you have already seen the date in the last
few newsletters – Sports Morning for years
1-6 is on July 19th, at the same time as
Foundation are having a Teddy Bears
Picnic – weather permitting !
PE Kit etc - please send in PE kit every
day as well as a hat and if appropriate, sun
tan lotion/cream as the weather gets hot
again – be prepared …..
Girls Football @ Forches – thanks to
everyone who supported the younger girls
earlier this week when they played football
against Barnstaple SAS (girls) – great
encouragement and thank you Miss Yeo
and Mr Keen for organising it all. And for
more information about SAS (boys and

Authors @ Forches – this week as we
continue to encourage reading across the
school we have had two authors come in
and talk – Eamon Reilly and Claire Barker.

Sports this summer on MUGA
Inspire South West will be delivering a
fun multi-sport activity programme over
the summer holidays – two days a week
for children aged 6 – 9 (am) and aged
10+ (pm) – tennis, dodgeball, handball,
netball, rounders, tag rugby, football
and more …..
