The innovative technology company ZEITLAUF® is presenting the pioneering planetary
gearhead NoiselessPlus with its unique smoothness at the Hanover Fair for the first time.
Lauf an der Pegnitz, 21st April 2008 – As far as spur gearheads, planetary gearheads
and angle gearheads with crown technology are concerned, ZEITLAUF® is one of the
world's innovative drivers in the development of advanced and economic
technologies. ZEITLAUF® gearhead motors work in copy machines, open lift doors
and move the doors on subway trains in Nuremberg, Seoul and Athens. The company
is presenting its groundbreaking NoiselessPlus development for the first time at the
Hanover Fair. The convincing features of this planetary gearhead include its
pioneering smoothness, high radial loads and unbeatable reductions.
NoiselessPlus is one of the smoothest running and quietest planetary gearheads currently
available on the market. The breadth of application ranges from almost silent industrial uses
to a gearhead for a technologically complex golf caddy made of titanium. With four different
design sizes (32, 42, 52 and 63) and a multitude of possible combinations with all standard
EC and DC motors, NoiselessPlus planetary gears can cope with a wide range of different

Sound power levels: The top-level values for smoothness and noise reduction
measured in the certified noise laboratory are convincing. These exemplary sound levels
are achieved through the combination of modified tooth design and precision
manufacturing of the gearhead parts.
Radial loads: The arrangement of the two ball bearings on the left and right of the
planetary wheel cage and the large distance between the bearings allow extreme radial
loads even at very high speeds.
Reductions: NoiselessPlus planetary gearheads make reductions up to 21:1 possible in
the one-stage versions. The two-stage versions of NoiselessPlus can even achieve
reductions of 231:1. The reductions offered as standard for NoiselessPlus are
harmoniously graded from 3.44 to 231:1.

- "Assembling on demand": Fast and individual combination of the required components in
top perfection.
- 48 hours service: After an order has been received, the tailor-made drive is ready for
dispatch within 48 hours (for quantities of up to 20 units).
- Keep-Word-Warranty: ZEITLAUF® is taking unusual steps with its unique warranty
promise. It includes replacement or repair of a faulty gearhead motor twice in a year, and
the preparation of a fault protocol for the reason for the fault (prepared for every device
returned). If there is an excessive load on the gearhead motor, it is replaced by a more
powerful solution and the price set off completely against that of the original drive.
- Standard modules range, online shop: The unique product configurator in the internet
portal can be used to put together all 3,573 solutions according to individual
requirements.

About the company
ZEITLAUF® was founded in the year 1957. The company's production, which began with
timers, developed into a wide product range of spur, planetary and angle gearheads with
crown technology as well as customer-specific special solutions which allowed the company
to rise to be a technological leader. Today, the company employees 211 people, 17 of them
trainees. In 2005 ZEITLAUF® was awarded the Jobstar, a prize is awarded to companies
