Kentillä kasteisilla
Hämärä käy yli maan.
Valkea niittyvilla
Translation
In dewy fields
Dark comes over
the land.
White meadow wool
is still awake.
Vielä on valveillaan
Katsoen kummissansa
Kuinka rukoukseen
Kaikki kukkien kansa
Kumartui hiljaiseen.
Looking strangely
how prayer
all the flowers
bowed silently.
Kuusen latvasta ääni
Pienoisen huilun soi
Minäkin kumarran pääni.
Minunkin sisälläni soi.
From top of spruce
makes sounds
like min flute
sounds
I bow my head.
Inside me the music
sounds.
Ode to a St. Louis Blues Hockey team
By: Aleksi Kulmala
The season started with great playing,
Players like Tarasenko and Oshie have
shown their potential to NHL fans,
Everybody is waiting is this the year of
St. Louis Blues?
Players feel the pressure,
Some of the players are giving
interviews to sport magazines,
They are taping their sticks and be
ready to begin the fight of Stanley cup,
Captains have more pressure; the
captain David Backes can feel it,
We have already felt the pain of losing
to Chicago,
But we have still changes to get the
biggest trophy in ice hockey,
The will to win,
Fans are coming to see the game,
Players are going to put their fighting
armors on,
They are walking the road to ice,
Music is playing from big stereos,
Fans are shouting their favorite players’
names,
The game is on.
The feeling in the arena is awesome,
Fans are waving their flags and singing songs,
The national anthem is coming from the arena stereos,
Fans are clapping,
Goalkeepers are going to goal and starting line ups are ready to match puck off,
The sticks clap together when the referee drop the puck,
Oshie wins the faceoff to St. Louis Blues,
The feeling in arena is incredible,
Fans are making waves in a stand,
When St. Louis scores people are going crazy and they sing Stanley Cup music,
But the way is still long to biggest trophy,
Still two period’s time,
Hits, PUMM!
Goals, Hurry!
Saves, Hoahh!
Penalties, Triit,
And the most important,
Will to win,
When the last period starts players are feeling big pressure,
St. Louis Blues is winning 4-3, but the Detroit Red Wings can make
anything in just one period,
The last faceoff in middle ice,
Again Oshie wins the puck,
He passes it to Tarasenko,
Tarasenko have had unbelievable rookie season in NHL,
Now he has change to win Stanley Cup,
He skates quickly towards Detroit's goal,
He makes a red herring and he made it,
The empty goal is in front of him,
He moves the puck to goal,
And the audience shouts hurry many times,
When the horn horns last time St. Louis Blues' players "run" to hug themselves,
They have just win Detroit Red Wings in Stanley Cup's final 7th game site of 6-3,
The captain David Backes is invited to go and take the Stanley Cup to his hands,
When he gets it to his hands he shouts yeaaaaahhhhhh and then he kiss the trophy,
T.J Oshie is coming next to take the trophy he was also prize with the best player of playoffs,
So this was the year of St. Louis Blues.
After game Sport magazines reporters are coming to see players, One of the most
interesting players are Alex Pietrangelo, David Backes, T.J Oshie, Vladimir Tarasenko
and Kevin Shattenkirk,
Everybody wants to see the Stanley Cup,
In summer theteam have a concert where they show the Stanley Cup to the fans,
The players can also give some signatures to smaller fans,
After concert the Cup start to rotate from player to player before the next season starts,
The Stanley Cup is at home!

Object poem:
Aleksi Kulmala:
A piece of paper.
The object is white and small,
It smells like a donut mall,
It feels soft,
And little bit frost.
I think it's very new piece,
Of an old pease,
An old boy threw it from classroom,
Like in a cartoon.
I wonder why it's there,
The question is, where?
When I close my eyes,
I see canteen,
The old fashion boy,
Is coming there to buy,
The old piece of pease.

Who feels happy when playing ice hockey, crazy when fighting

Who fears madmen, darkness and to be alone outside in the
