Even-Odd Sorting Game - Super Teacher Worksheets

Even-Odd Sorting Game
Objective:
Students practice sorting numbers into 2 categories: even and odd.
Materials:
Number Cards (pages 2-4)
Set up:
Copy the cards on card stock or thick paper.
Cut the cards on the dotted lines.
How to Play:
There are many ways to use these cards. Here are three possibilities:
1.
You may have students place the cars in two groups on the table - even and odd.
2.
Place all the cards upside down. Students take turn flipping pairs of cards. If a student flips two cards that are both
even or two cards that are both odd, they get to keep the cards. The player with the most cards at the end of the
game is the winner.
3.
Place magnets on the back and create and even/odd sort game for the chalkboard.
4.
Place the cards upside down in a deck. Have the students draw a card and tell whether it is even or odd.
