Insight offers the ability to further examine Written Test results by utilizing the “Detailed
Step Statistics” feature. Recruiters can view the score frequency (distribution of scores)
in report and/or bar graph form.
In order to take full advantage of the functionality this feature provides, Recruiters must
use the “Written Exam” evaluation step in the exam plan. Additionally, scheduling of
test takers and uploading test results/scores must be done through Insight.
After administration of a written test (including the upload of results/scores), log into
Insight, and follow the steps below:
1. In the Exam Plan, Click ‘View Results’ under Evaluation Steps. (Important:
Your Evaluation Step must be set up as a ‘Written Exam’)
2. Click on ‘Detailed Step Statistics’

3. Click the drop down menu under „Test Statistics’ and select ‘Frequencies of
Scores’
4. Click the drop down menu under „Statistical Report and select ‘Freq at each
Score’

5. The ‘Frequencies at each Score Report’ appears and provides various options.
A) Click on the ‘Printable Version’ link to print this report
B) Click on the ‘Export to Excel’ link to access this report in Microsoft Excel

6. Click on ‘Show Graph” to convert the data to a bar graph format
