NOTICE OF SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
Sealed bids will be received by the Mississippi State Port Authority at Gulfport, 2510 14th
Street, Suite 1450, Gulfport, Mississippi 39501, until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2017
and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud for the sale of a 2008 Terex
Gottwald Model 6 Crane.
This crane will be sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” and without warranty. Inspections may be
made at the West Pier of the Mississippi State Port Authority, Gulfport, MS between April
5th – April 25th 2017, provided that arrangements have been first made with Chuck
Graham, Crane Manager, (228) 865-4305 / [email protected].
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to: Attn: Jonathan Daniels,
Executive Director/CEO, Mississippi State Port Authority. Each sealed envelope
containing the bid shall be clearly marked on the outside as BID ENCLOSED “SALE OF
2008 GOTTWALD CRANE”, and the envelope should also bear on the outside the
Company’s name and address. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the
bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the Executive Director,
Mississippi State Port Authority, 2510 14TH Street, Suite 1450, Gulfport, Mississippi
39501. Any bid not received in writing at this office by the date and time specified will be
declared late. The Port Authority will not be responsible for any delays. It is solely the
responsibility of the individual that bids reach the opening on time. Any bid received after
closing time will be returned unopened. Bids or alterations by fax or phone will not be
accepted.
The Mississippi State Port Authority at Gulfport reserves the right to reject any or all bids
and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Award of bid will be based on the lowest and
best bid received. Final approval and award of bid is subject to approval of the Office of
the State Auditor, Division of Property.

obtained from the Purchasing Administrator located in the Operations Office, West Pier,

notice.
