Facilitator Profile Judy has worked over 20 years in state government on a wide variety of central Government programs and projects. As a chartered accountant of 25 years she has wide-ranging experience in both the public and private sector, working on strategic policy, business cases, risks and benefits and performance management as well as being an experienced workshop facilitator. Judy is an accredited facilitator for Investment Logic Map workshops and has delivered a number of workshops for Queensland state government departments including Department of Transport and Main Road, Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services and Powerlink. Judy is also qualified in PRINCE2 (11 years experience) and MSP (8 years experience). More broadly, Solute Consulting has extensive experience with the formulation of documentation required to assess investment decisions including preparation of Strategic Assessments, Preliminary Evaluations, Cost Benefit Analysis and Business Cases. Solute prepares up to 30 business cases of varying sizes a year across a variety of fields including social services, education, property/housing, ICT, roads and rail. The majority of Solute’s experience in business case preparation has been through consultancies to prepare business cases ICTenabled business investments for Queensland Government Departments. Solute’s status as recognised experts in the development of business cases has grown over the past 10 years. The Solute Business Case Methodology has been utilised in the completion of Queensland Government business cases and Queensland public sector employees have undertaken training in the methodology.
