Getting Started with Online Banking

Welcome to BMO Harris Online Banking!
To get started, you will need the following information:
• BMO Harris Bank personal or business checking, money market, savings, mortgage or loan account
number*, or ATM/debit card information; and,
• The last six digits of your Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number
Once enrolled, you can easily view, manage and track your finances online, and you’ll now have access to
BMO Harris Bill Pay®, BMO Harris Total Look® and BMO Harris Mobile BankingSM.
From bmoharris.com:
1. Click on Enroll in online banking today.
2. Click to enroll with either:
- Your ATM/Debit Card Number and PIN or
- Your BMO Harris account information
3. Fill in the requested information and
click Preview.

4. Review and click Submit.
We will send you an email containing a
temporary Password. This Password may be used
the first time you log in from bmoharris.com.
Upon your first time logging in to online banking,
you will be asked to create your own, unique
Password.

Reduce clutter by going paperless! It’s easy
when you opt out of receiving paper statements.
Under Preferences, go to Statement
Preferences and select Electronic Only today!

Establish Security Questions
As an added security feature, you are required to
establish security questions. Once these have been
established, we may present these to you as an
added layer of verification when you log in.

1. Select a Question from the drop down menu
and provide a unique Answer. Be sure to
establish all three Questions and Answers.
2. Confirm whether you would like us to
remember your computer. By checking the
“Yes” box, you may avoid answering these
questions each time you log in from this
computer.

3. Click Continue.

4. Confirm that your information is correct and
click Continue. If it is not correct, you may go
back to edit the information.
5. You will receive a confirmation that
your Questions and Answers have been
successfully established. Next, click Access
Accounts.

Review Agreements
• Upon your first time logging in, review and
agree to the BMO Harris Online Banking
Services Agreement and the Electronic Notice
and Consent Agreement.

• Upon review and acceptance,
click I Accept.
As our agreements change you will be presented
with the updated information and asked to review
and accept before using our online services.
