Welcome to an easy and fun community engagement initiative – a video contest that showcases the
importance of land to people in their everyday lives. It subtly showcases your land trust and how
important you are to the community, and how you provide access to the land that makes their lives
better.

Phase 3: Vote
October 16 – November 17, 2017
Update: Due to participant feedback, we have changed the rules around voting. Now a panel of judges
comprised of industry experts, will select the top ten videos from all the videos uploaded in September.
This phase is the time for people to vote for their favorite video to decide the top three winners. The
First Place winner still gets to select the land trust that will receive $10,000 from the Land Trust Alliance.
Each section below will have two options: one for the land trusts that have a video in the top ten and
one for the land trusts that don’t, but still want to help us and their colleagues generate enthusiasm for
the contest. (Thanks for your support!)
