Dear MILO T20 Blast parent,
It was a beautiful evening for cricket. The second last game of the season is this week. The
following weekend, after our last match, we will be having a quick presentation and free
sausage sizzle to celebrate a great season.
Please ensure we get there on time or as close to the start time of 5.30 as possible to
ensure that teams are well balanced for numbers. It makes things very difficult for me to
ensure even team numbers if half the team show up 15-20 minutes late. I will often place
spare / extra players in teams to help make up the numbers for teams who appear to be
short of players at the start. When the late-comers arrive these teams can often end up
with too many players. For everyone’s sake please try to arrive on time (or early!)

Weekly Results
The game of the week was the match between Weston Fireballs and Weston Warriors. On
this occasion the girls won by just 29 runs. Hannah Dears (Weston Warriors) and Jake
Munyard (Weston Warriors) both scored 47 not out in a tight match.

This Week’s rule:
Umpire Helpers
The bowling team coach/manager is to umpire at the bowler’s end, score the game and assist the fielding team with fielding
positions and who will bowl. The batting team coach/manager is to be the square leg umpire and organize the next batting pair
and that the other players are going to and from the skill zone. The Centre Coordinator will provide scorebooks for each game.
The MILO T20 Blast App can also be used for scoring.
Lost Property
Over the past 2 weeks I have been collecting MILO T20 Blast caps. I have 2 now. Come and
see me if yours has been left behind in the last 2 weeks.
