Directions for Archiving E-Mail
1. Open Groupwise
2. Go to the Tools menu; Options
3. Choose Environment
4. Choose File Location Tab
5. Click the folder beside the Archive Directory line to open the window
you will use to enter the path to your “My Documents Folder”
6. Click the + beside My Documents to expand. Then click “Make New
Folder”. The new folder should appear under the My Documents
heading. Name the folder Email_Archives, then click OK
7. Close the Environment window
A message window may open that reads as follows:
C: /Novell/Groupwise/Remote Does not exist. Create Directory?
Choose YES
8. Archiving your messages: To highlight multiple messages, hold the
CTRL key and left mouse click once on each message you wish to send to
the Archive Directory. After all messages are highlighted in blue, right
mouse click in the blue area and choose Move to Archive from the sub
menu that appears.
9. To view the documents you have archived: From Groupwise, go to
FILE, OPEN ARCHIVE.
10. To exit the Archive Directory and move back to your current mailbox:
Go to FILE; Open Archive
