The shaded descriptors are more likely to produce work at B2 – the lower end of the level) Can the student examine and break information into parts by identifying motives or causes? Can the student make inferences or find evidence to support generalizations? Is there balance in a student’s response or does it focus on one issue/idea? Can the student explain concepts and ideas?
