Welcome to the Oshawa Men’s Hockey League
The Oshawa Men’s Hockey League has been created to provide recreational
men’s hockey in a balanced competitive environment. As we grow and evolve we will maintain a
league that embraces the spirit of fair play and good sportsmanship so that all players may continue
to enjoy the GAME among friends. We hope to balance teams each year to maintain a competitive
balance and to broaden everyone’s opportunity to play and meet new players in the league. It is our
intention to make this the finest men’s hockey league in Durham Region. We thank you for your

Acknowledgement of Risk Waiver of Liability
The undersigned hereby covenants and agrees for him/her self and any other servant, invitee, guest, spectator, organization, employee, member or
any other person in any way affiliated with him/her (collectively the “Applicant”) in the use of the facilities at Durham College / UOIT or
participation in any activity taking place at the Campus Ice Centre that they shall be solely responsible for all claims, demands, costs, expenses,
actions, causes of actions, whether in law or equity, resulting from any personal injury, or property damage, or for the loss or theft of clothing or
equipment, of the Applicant, however caused and whether contributed to by the negligence of the Oshawa Men’s Hockey League and the at Durham
College / UOIT , its employees, servants, officers, agents, contractors and/or representatives and their successors and assigns. The Applicant
further covenants and agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Oshawa Men’s Hockey League and Durham College / UOIT, its employees,
servants, officers, agents, contractors and/or representatives and their successors and assigns from and against all liability whatsoever resulting from
any personal injury, property damage, loss or theft referred to in the preceding paragraph. The Applicant acknowledges the activities carried on at
the Campus Ice Centre, carry with them an inherent risk of personal injury, property damage and loss or theft of personal property and the Applicant
by the execution of this document acknowledges and confirms that he/she is well aware of and understands these risks and is executing and
participating in activities at the Campus Ice Centre voluntarily. The Applicant futher warrants that he/she is in good physical and mental health, is
able to freely participate in the hockey league and any health restrictions have been noted. The Applicant covenants and agrees to be bound by all
rules and regulations from time to time as may be published and provided by the Oshawa Men’s Hockey League and/or Durham College / UOIT to
govern the usage of the facility and all activities conducted thereupon. The Applicant further acknowledges that in consideration of being allowed
to play in the hockey league, he/she remains indebted for any amount owing to the Oshawa Men’s Hockey League.
