Primary Purpose
The Senior Communications and Education Officer works in a team environment and actively
contributes to the effective and efficient delivery of agency communications and stakeholder
engagement with a focus on innovation and improvement.
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, plan, coordinate, promote, deliver and evaluate
SafeWork SA communication and engagement activities including outreach projects and events
necessitating the preparation of project plans and information in various formats including on line via
digital platforms and print.

The Communications and Engagement Team delivers high quality services within an
environment of conflicting priorities and resource complexities;
Where workload volumes are high due to project demands and service delivery complexities;

Competing demands across a range of event deliveries, projects and publication development

Out of hours work will be required during periods of major events or incidents

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds
satisfactory.
