CMI Moves to State-of-the-Art Facilities
New facilities accommodate company growth in digital delivery and localization
STAMFORD, CT. October 21, 2016 — CMI, today announced the relocation of its East Coast
headquarters from Armonk, New York to the downtown district of Stamford, Connecticut, a
media hub right outside of New York City. The move to the 12,000 square foot space at 9 West
Broad Street, Stamford, CT 06902 provides a new base of operations for staff and supports the
company's continuing, robust growth. The company also maintains facilities in Studio City, CA.
The relocation is also another step in the company’s evolution. CMI, which was founded in
1961 as Cinemagnetics, recently changed its name to CMI Media Management and rebranded
with a new logo, and website at cminyla.com.
"We are incredibly excited about moving into our new offices" said Haitham Wahab, CEO and
co-owner of CMI. "Our new state-of-the-art facility is the perfect post for considerably more
efficiency and collaboration. We look forward to this next chapter as we shift toward expert
digital technology while continuing to offer a full complement of video localization services to
our clients. The new location also offers expanded meeting space for client centered events such
as special screenings or targeted workshops and conferences.”
CMI joins other corporations such as NBC Sports, the Yes Network, and ESPN who have made
the move to the thriving business district of Stamford, CT.
The newly-renovated office space was designed by Dennis Noskin Architects out of Tarrytown,
New York. The building houses state-of-the-art facilities with significantly enhanced
connectivity to allow CMI to meet the localization, digital delivery and fulfillment needs of its
partners in the Inflight Entertainment Industry (IFE) as well as of a variety of clients -- ranging
from Fortune 500 corporations to educational content providers and independent artists to the
film industry. HB Communications completed the systems architecture.
The space will house several corporate functions, including senior management, finance and
administration as well as digital post production. CMI is also expanding its editorial suites and
